Introduction

It is told that in an ancient time, the Buddha called all the animals of the world to him, but only twelve came to pay homage to the Buddha.  As a gift for their loyalty, each of the twelve was given a year which would thereafter be named in its honor.  Thus, the Asian zodiac has twelve-year cycles; each cycle begins with the Year of the Rat and ends with the Year of the Boar.

Dear Joyce,

"I love my Asian Horoscope!  It was given to me as a birthday gift.  Mine is the year of the Dragon and it is amazing how so many things are dead on!

Also the Dragon Artwork is terrific. I have it up in My Office-  and everyone who sees it stops to take a look. A great birthday gift!"

—Mike G.,NYC

Dear Joyce,

"I received my Year of the Monkey horoscope and was so impressed with the artwork. It is an homage to a famous Japanese watercolor and I wish it was printed on silk. The horoscope text was quite accurate and the paragraph 'Guiding My Dating Choices' is very amusing"

—Suzanne T., NJ

Dear Joyce,

"Loved the graphics and text of my Year of the Dog print. It's very accurate and corresponds with my scorpio horoscope. I'll be sure to stay clear of dragons and sheep."
